I knew packing was going to be one of the hardest parts about this trip. Don’t worry family and friends, saying goodbye to you all for three months is before packing on my top 10 hardest-things-to-do-for-my-trip-to-Spain list. So here you have it. The suitcases. Right now they are looking a little hefty, and they might need to be trimmed down in the morning. I think if I did my calculations correctly, my checked bag is just at 50 pounds. I do want to make sure that I have enough wiggle room to bring things home too!
The insides look beautifully organized (because that’s just how I roll), and the outsides are just as beautiful. I don’t know if you can tell, but my suitcases are PURPLE!! (Thanks to my mom & dad for the wonderful Christmas gift). They really do know how much I love purple. Not only are they the most wonderful color, but the brand name is Ricardo. Now that right there is a good, quality Spanish name. Ricardo and I are about to set off on a grand journey across the Atlantic Ocean.
Preparations for my trip have been running pretty smoothly minus some minor things here and there, but those just add to the anticipation of leaving. I am extremely tired as of tonight, but I can’t seem to fall asleep thanks to tomorrow’s long awaited journey. I guess I better get some quality sleep now so I can get up and get going tomorrow! Plus, I have the whole flight to sleep!
